MICA Grad Show Identity

An identity system that connects and celebrates the diverse practices of the sixteen divergent graduate departments at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Created in collaboration with designers Ninad Kale and Erica Holeman, this true team effort was selected by our clients in the MICA Graduate Office. The identity was created over six-months and encompassed more than 30 individual pieces.

In creating this identity, we were inspired by the Bauhaus concept of a "code of abstract forms". Our own code consisted of two types—basic geometric shapes representing the solid theory taught at MICA and organic shapes for the passion, originality, and spirit that give all art life.
